Don’t leave collins303.com without picking up these classic mixes. It’s the collins303 top 10!
The mixes featured here are my biggest hitters, taking into account listener stats, comments and what went into producing them 🙂 Let me know what you think in the post comments and if you have any favourites not listed here!
Kicking off the top 10 is a classic disco and house mix inspired by some great times at The Garden Festival. Vibes!
In at number 9, now that’s what I call a chill out mix!
There’s more breaks mixes than any other genre here at collins303.com due to it being the time where I was really knocking them out! At number 8, it’s the pick of the bunch….a document of a one off truly great night 🙂 Nice one Cockers!
Holding it down at number 7…What a party and a tasty live mix chock full of classics 🙂
At number 6, classic acid house and warehouse tracks are all in the mix!
Into the top 5… Hardcore, you know the score 🙂 I cut my DJing teeth at The Slammer playing this sort of stuff!
At number 4, a mix featured in DJ Mag…A rip-roaring tear up of 80s classics 🙂
03. Da Funky Shitz
Mmmmm Da Funky Shitz 🙂 At number 3, possibly my favourite of this top 10…hip hop, funk and block party breaks all the way!
At number 2…this mix nearly got me a gig at Space, Ibiza 🙂 It’s definitely bagged a few other gigs and is now a club night of its own. Probably my best moment technically, I’m not sure time will ever allow this mix to be bettered!
01. Berwick Fever
It’s been ripped off. It got people coming to Flangestock just from being fans of it. I still get “No way – you did that berwick mix? It’s my favourite ever mix” comments from people I’ve just met. Taking the top spot due to being by some distance the most downloaded, played and well loved mix of the lot, it’s Berwick Fever! Some of the best old skool ever committed to wax mixed up in a no nonsense styleee 🙂
